COLLEGE BASKETBALL - Sheridan College Generals basketball coach Steve Smiley has announced his final recruit for the 2009 season: Smiley got confirmation this week that Kendrick Morse, a 5'7 point guard from Richton Park, Illinois, has committed to playing for the Generals this fall. Smiley says they are getting another good addition to the team.

The 2009 Sheridan WYO rodeo was another rousing success as we take a look at the final event standing first in the rough stock events in the bareback riding Joe Gunderson from Agar, South Dakota took the top money with a ride of 83 and won over 3800 dollars in the saddle bronc riding Cort Sheer from Elsmere, Nebraska won with a ride of 85 and took down over 3600 dollars and in the bull riding Tyl

RODEO - A couple of familiar names showed up on the leader board in steer roping slack yesterday at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. The top 30 move on to compete in the three regular performances of the WYO Rodeo. Several times, world champion Guy Allen took the 1st Go yesterday, followed by J. Tom Fisher and Bryce Davis.
