Wyoming Main Street's Randolph Announces Retirement

Mary Randolph, Director of the Wyoming Main Street Program with the Wyoming Rural Development Council, spoke to the Buffalo City Council at a recent meeting on the Main Street Program and also to announce her pending retirement from the organization.

VOA Gives Quarterly Report to Johnson County

Scott Duncan, with Volunteers of America, gave the latest quarterly report to the Johnson County Commissioners at a recent meeting, saying numbers of those involved in their juvenile justice and probation services they provide the county are remaining high.

Open House to End 2014 Museum Season

The Sheridan County Museum will end the 2014 season with a two-day open house.

Santa at the Shrine

Hundreds of children got the chance to visit with Santa at the annual Kalif Shrine Christmas Party held at the Kalif Shrine Temple on Loucks Street. Balloons, plus a free lunch of hotdogs and chips, and a stocking from Santa's elves kept everyone happy.

A tradition that started in 1988, the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary celebrated its "Trees of Love" fundraiser and open house on Sunday.

The four large spruce trees on the hospital lawn are lit each year with lights serving a special purpose.
