Forest Burn May Cause Smoke in Sheridan Area

Smoke may be visible in Sheridan this afternoon and tomorrow, according to the U.S. Forest Service, because firefighters plan to burn slash piles in the Bighorn National Forest about a quarter of a mile northwest of Burgess Junction. Spokeswoman Susan Douglas provided the details.
