In at least three cases the answer to that question is yes.

STORM UPDATE: Power's Been Restored

The overnight thunderstorm that's flooded parts of Sheridan County also caused a power outage at 5:30 this morning to about 3,100 customers of the Montana Dakota Utilities company.

Fish Dumping Suspect Has Been Identified

A suspect has now been identified who could be responsible for the illegal dumping of nearly 400 fish near Gillette. Bud Stewart of the local Game and Fish office gave me the update on yesterday's Public Pulse show.

Pheasants Forever Saves the Chicks

When four inches of rain and hail flooded the brooder houses Friday night at the state Game and Fish bird farm south of Sheridan, a local group rallied to save the pheasant chicks that were housed there. Game official Bud Stewart gave us the details.

Floodwaters Reported Going Down

A severe thunderstorm moved into Sheridan County shortly before 8 last night, that caused flash flooding throughout parts of the area, and the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning for Sheridan County through noon today. Reporter Pat Blair has the latest update from the county’s emergency management coordinator.
