Crews with Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Goose Valley Volunteer Fire Department, the Sheridan Police Department and Rocky Mountain Ambulance responded to a structure fire at approximately 10:11 Sunday morning at 597 Kingfisher Avenue.

Retired UW Researcher Contributes to State’s 100 Most Significant Sites, Buildings Website

The Wyoming Territorial Prison is among five Laramie sites listed in Wyoming’s 100 most significant historical buildings and sites. Mary Humstone, a retired UW research scientist in American studies, compiled the list for Archipedia, a website created by the Society of Architectural Historians.

UW’s Air Force ROTC Receives Regional Honors

The University of Wyoming’s Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) Detachment 940 was recently named the best small detachment in the Northwest Region for the 2016-17 academic year.

The detachment’s cadre also was selected as the Northwest Region’s team of the third quarter of 2017.
