Rearing captive sage grouse could offset losses, True says

WyoFile.com -The newest member of Wyoming’s sage grouse team said he would seek to use grouse raised at his bird farm to offset or mitigate the effects of development, if farm rearing is successful.

Still Room Left in Several YMCA Youth Summer Camps

Next month, the Sheridan County YMCA’s Youth Summer Camps will start. According to Y Arts Coordinator Tyler Rogers, there are still openings in many of the camps.

Dog and Cat Shelter Rabies Clinic Just Around the Corner

The Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter will hold their annual Rabies Clinic in Kendrick Park from June 6-10. Each day rabies shots will be administered by a veterinarian from 8am-1pm and each dog or cat will cost $10.

City Hosts Public Meeting on Fluoride

Buffalo Council Denies Request For Sewer Rate Restructure

The Buffalo City Council has opted to not grant a request from a local business owner wanting the city to restructure their sewer rates, or to designate his car wash as a “green business” and allow him a lower sewer rate, if they were not willing or able to currently re-structure the rates in general.
