Cutting Horse Showdown Returns

Around 150 cutting horse riders from seven or eight states and two places in Canada are in Sheridan this weekend for the second Showdown in Sheridan at the Sheridan College AgriPark.

WYOmericana Caravan Tour

The Sheridan WYO Theater will host the WYOmericana Caravan Tour on Tuesday, which is a grassroots ride through Wyoming’s musical landscape featuring Jalan Crossland, Screen Door Porch and the Low Water String Band.

Sheridan County UW Student Receives Funding for Further Research

The University of Wyoming’s Center for Global Studies will support 20 new student research and internship projects this summer and fall. Among those students to receive support is Sara Ellingrod of Clearmont who is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Global and Area Studies and Spanish.

Two Public Hearings Scheduled for City Council Meeting

The Sheridan City Council will hold two Public Hearings at their meeting on Monday night. According to Mayor Roger Miller, the first hearing will be on the recent Electronic Sign Ordinance.

Shon Shroeful, owner of Buffalo's Wash Me Car Wash, came back before the city council at their last meeting, seeking a sewer rate adjustment that he feels would be fairer for him and other commercial properties within the city limits.
