On Sunday, December 10, 2017, Wyoming inmate Paul C. Alberts passed away due to illness. This death was taken place within the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution located in Torrington, Wyoming.

National Weather Service Issues Fire Warning

The National Weather Service in Billings, Montana has issued a fire warning. This fire warning is due to ongoing warm, dry, and windy conditions. It is advised to use caution when burning this week, however, the Sheridan County Commissioners have not issued any fire bans at this point.

Sheridan County Museum Holiday Open House Weekend

The Sheridan County Museum and Historical Society will be celebrating the Christmas Season by holding open houses on Saturday and Sunday. Museum Director John Woodward said that the admission fee will be waved on both days.
