Whitney Art Facility Ahead of Schedule

Construction of the new Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College in Sheridan is ahead of schedule.

Food Court Replaces Old Cafeteria

As Sheridan Media reported earlier, the new Thorne-Rider Campus Center at Sheridan College has changed the dynamics of the two-year community college in Sheridan. One of the big changes has been in food service. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair has the details.

Free Skate Draws Crowds

No Christmas break doldrums, last week the Whitney Rink began offering open skating during the holiday break and hundreds turned out for the free event.

Bird Count Coming Up Tuesday

The Bighorn Audubon Society is hosting the second of two Christmas Bird Counts on Tuesday. The count will be held in the Big Horn/Story area and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott met with coordinator Ariel Downing to bring us the story.

Commissioners On Cyber Security, DeSmet Action Plan, Inspection

Johnson County will be getting a cyber security analysis to study their preparedness for a cyber security breach, and they will also be getting the completed Emergency Action Plan for Lake DeSmet.
