Ayers Suing University of Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Bill Ayers and a University of Wyoming student are suing the school after it banned the former radical from speaking on campus. Ayers was a Vietnam-era radical who now is a professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Grasshoppers Galore

The last time we've seen as many grasshoppers as we are expected to see this summer wasn't since the mid-eighties. Conservation Groups Concerned That Pocket Gopher Doesn't Make The List

The feds have said “no” to an endangered species listing for a tiny mammal that only lives in Sweetwater and Carbon Counties. Conservation groups petitioned three years ago to get protection for the Wyoming pocket gopher – and that brought concerns because a listing would have affected oil, gas and wind development planned for over much of the creature’s range.
