At a news conference Wednesday, Governor Dave Freudenthal said that Wyoming cannot wait for the federal government to fix healthcare, and suggested that the State Legislature strongly consider a proposal before a house committee this week.

Pinnacle Gas Resources, Inc. Enters Into Agreement to be Acquired by Investor Group

Sheridan-based oil and gas company Pinnacle Gas Resources, Inc issued a media release this morning announcing that it has entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which an investor group will acquire Pinnacle in an all-cash transaction for $0.34 per share of common stock, representing a premium of approximately 28% to Pinnacle's closing share price yesterday of $0.265.

Another Jail Fight Prompts Discussion with Sheriff

In Monday's Sheridan County Circuit Court proceedings, two current inmates at the Sheridan County Jail were brought before Magistrate Carol Doughty on Battery charges for a fight they got into at the jail. Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson has more.
