Two Arrested for Cabin Burglaries

The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office has received several reports over the last few weeks of cabin burglaries in the the Bighorn Mountains near the Burgess Junction area, specifically along the Tongue, Big Willow, Little Willow, and North Tongue drainages.

City of Sheridan Expects Health Insurance Increase

Health Insurance premiums are expected to increase for the City of Sheridan as the paid loss ratio continues to climb higher than the desired 85%. City Human Relations Director Heather Doke.

The fact that the paid loss ratio is almost 91% at this point in the fiscal year means that an impending increase is looming.

The Stolen Quilt Has Been Returned

This quilt that was stolen eariler this month from the Fiber Arts Show at the Fulmer LIbrary in Sheridan has been returned.

The quilt that was recently stolen from the Fiber Arts Show at the Sheridan Fulmer Library has been returned. The owner of the quilt and one of the organizers for the Fiber Arts Show Carol Kolf explains how the quilt was returned.

Partnership Will Help Expand the Arts at Sheridan College

In late August of this year, the WYO Theater, the City of Sheridan, and Sheridan College partnered to submit a grant application through the Wyoming Business Council. The grant is for a Business Ready Communities Grant in the amount of $3 million. The plan is to renovate not only the WYO Theater, but to also renovate the Hallmark and Perkins buildings as well.

G&F Seeks Information on Poaching Incident Near Kaycee

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is looking for help in apprehending those responsible for the wanton destruction of a large bull elk in northern Natrona County, just south of Kaycee.
