Wyoming overcomes Waves in Overtime, 86 to 82

LARAMIE, Wyo.(AP) -- A.J. Davis scored 20 points as Wyoming edged Pepperdine 86-82 in overtime Sunday in the World Vision Basketball Challenge.

The Cowboys (3-4) lost a 13-point second-half lead but outscored the Waves 7-3 in overtime for their lone victory of the tournament.

Sheridan College And The Search For The New President

The president of Sheridan College is Kevin Drumm, who has been in the final candidate pool two different times this year for college president positions on the east and west coasts. In both instances, those colleges pursued him, not the other way around.

Casper Donates Land To Habitat For Humanity

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Casper City Council has approved giving a piece of property on the north side of the city to Habitat for Humanity. The council approved the land transfer last week. Bruce Maurer, executive director for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, says construction on a home at the site will begin in February or March.

Vandals Strike Festival Of Lights Display

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - The Campbell County Sheriff's Office says it's paying special attention to Cam-plex Park in Gillette because of vandals striking the annual Festival of Lights display that runs through the holidays.Wes Johnson, the show's director, says vandals are unscrewing lights and smashing them on concrete.
