Sheridan Tourism Office Takes On Welcome Role

The manner in which staffers of the Sheridan Travel and Tourism organization promote the area has changed a bit since the Sheridan Chamber of Commerce moved its offices from the visitor’s center on Fifth Street to downtown.

Big Game Management Meetings Continue

Boys, Girls Club Starts Programs

The Johnson County Boys and Girls Club of the Big Horns is taking it to the streets in the coming months, as they participate in a new program.

UW Tennis camps coming to Sheridan

Tennis weather has arrived and University of Wyoming will be holding a tennis camp here in Sheridan June 2-6 at the SHS tennis courts. It is open to all boys and girls ages 7-18, no matter their skill level.

The purpose of the camp is to provide all attendees the opportunity to acquire, develop and improve their tennis skills with an emphasis on good technique, strategy, motivation and fun.

Also to provide on court coaching during match play to better understand how to construct points and how to play every point with a purpose.

Troopers home opener Thursday night / Generals hoop camp / Rockies down the Phils

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 3-5 overall at looking forward to finally playing at home tomorrow night against Douglas the first game is schedule to start at 5:00.

GENERALS YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP - Sheridan college Men's basketball coach Steve Smiley will host the Generals youth basketball camp June 9th - 12th at the Hoffman dome the camp is open to all boys K-10th grade.

In 2012, the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Joint Powers Board hired consultants to develop a Career Technical Education and Training study that would build off of the Wadley Donovan Report from 2007.
