Bighorn National Forest Hiring for Summer Positions

Officials with the Bighorn National Forest have announced that over the next couple of months, forest managers will be hiring for temporary, seasonal positions in a variety of specialized areas.

Sheridan County Officials Sworn In

Ten Sheridan County officials took the oaths of office Monday morning in the district courtroom of Judge John J. Fenn.

Charges Filed in Hospital Pharmacy Burglary

On January 5, 2015, an arrest warrant was served to Kyle Logan Fearnow, age 26 of Sheridan, for his involvement in the May 30, 2014 burglary of Hospital Pharmacy at 1 S. Main Street.

Weather Closes Montana Schools

Mysterious Ames Monument Will Be Topic of State’s 125th Celebration

Wyoming is full of unusual and mysterious places. The Medicine Wheel between Lovell and Sheridan is one such place.  The birthing rock north of Rock Springs is another.  And one of the oddest of all is the Ames Monument, known as the  “pyramid of the plains” located between Cheyenne and Laramie.
