Governor Appoints Sims to Beef Council

CHEYENNE, WYO - Wyoming Governor Matt Mead appointed Lacee Sims of Evanston to fill a position for a producer of range cattle on the Wyoming Beef Council.

All Bronc games this season can be heard live on AM 14-10 KWYO. The games can also be heard live online at sheridanmedia.com.

There will be select games also on 87.7 FM

Kendrick Park Pool is Tourist Draw

After a busy summer, and a few closings for repairs, the city-owned public swimming pool in Kendrick Park in Sheridan closed Saturday for the season.

Sheridan Rec. District Organizing Dodgeball League

Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge! The Recreation District is introducing an all new Dodgeball league for the Fall Season. For Co-ed only.

Registrations are from August 25th-September 19th. Registrations can now be signed-up online at www.sheridanrecreation.com or still sign up in person at 1579 Thorne Rider Park.

Play will begin September 29th at the Junior High School.

Season will consist of 10 games and then a playoff. Games will played on Monday Nights. Fees are $200 per team.

BRONC FOOTBALL - Sheridan high school Head football coach and Activities Director Don Julian says the last couple of weeks have gone well for all fall sports teams at the high school.

The Bronc football team is now into game week as they get ready to face Laramie Friday night and Julian says they expect a good week of preparation with the players.

And he says the last two weeks the team has done the work to be ready for the opener Friday night.

Forestry Annual Field Trip this Week

Bighorn National Forest managers and members of the Forest Plan Steering Committee will tour three locations in the Powder River District Thursday for the annual forest plan monitoring and evaluation field trip.
