Generals basketball coach loses "interim" tag / Bronc / Lady Bronc hoops home this weekend / Bronc wrestlers host Gillette Thursday / Rockies pitchers and catchers report Feb. 20th

SC BASKETBALL - There are just a handful of conference basketball games left for high school and college teams the Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals have four games each left in the regular season with games against Miles City and Little Big Horn CC this week.

Monday Sheridan college announced that Generals "Interim" Head coach Matt Hammer had been named officially the Generals Head coach, Hammer says it's been a whirlwind few months since he took over late last summer.

Girl Still Missing After Fall Through Ice

UPDATE 1:30 p.m.:Authorities have now released the name of the missing child. She's been identified as 4-year-old Chevell Boshaw-Evans. Her father, who was with her on the river, was identified as 49-year-old Robert Boshaw. Her mother was named as 45-year-old Quailla Evans.

Conservation District Board Approves Monitoring Plan

The Sheridan County Conservation District will monitor fewer sites in the Goose Creek watersheds this year than in 2012, which is the last time the three creeks were sampled for water quality.

SO, Goose Valley Respond to Tractor Fire

Sheridan County sheriff's deputies and the Goose Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to a tractor fire on Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan on Sunday morning.

Watershed Steering Committee Meetings Coming Up

The Sheridan County Conservation District will be hosting the first of three watershed steering committee meetings this Thursday, according to manager Carrie Rogaczewski.

Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek gave a short media conference at the Powder River Rest Area east of Buffalo at about 11:30 this morning to update the public on the search efforts for a 4 year-old girl that fell through the ice Sunday night.
