WYOMING WILDFIRES

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming recorded an above-average number of wildfires in 2017 but the state escaped the large conflagrations that plagued other western states.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams combined to go 5-1 at a tournament in Cheyenne the Broncs swept all three the Lady Broncs lost the opener then won two straight.

The Lady Broncs dropped a game to Kelly Walsh Thursday then came from behind and beat Green River Friday and capped off the weekend with an amazing comeback and a 61-55 win over Rock Springs.

Head coach Larry Ligocki said the two victories were big for the Lady Broncs.

County Tables Elevator Maintenance Agreement

Johnson County's Commissioners, on the recommendation of Civil Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago, tabled action on an elevator maintenance agreement to give Crago an opportunity to clarify and change some parts of the agreement before the county enters into it.
