Gatchell Museum Director Gives Year-end Review

The Johnson County Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum has seen an increase in the numbers of program attendees in the last year, according to Museum Director Sylvia Bruner, who recently gave a year-end report on the museum to the county commission.

County OKs Closing Extension Office During Holidays

The Johnson County Cooperative Extension Office will close over the holidays after approval was granted by the county commission, as is done every year.

Caring & Sharing Program Deadline Monday

The Johnson County Caring and Sharing Committee is striving to see that no county children in need go without gifts this Christmas.

Parents or guardians in Buffalo and Kaycee can fill out forms for children, and then pick up the gifts next month.

Council to Address Surplus Funding Designation

The Sheridan City Council at their meeting Monday night will be considering authorization for the specific purpose of assigning $225,000 in surplus funds from fiscal year 2019 as an assigned fund balance for the implementation of a new software system for the City.
