Two Medicine Wheel Trails Opened and Clear

Due to a wind event that occurred in late June, several trails in the Medicine Wheel Ranger District were impassable. As of now, High Park Trail and Lower Medicine Lodge Trail have been cleared and are passable.

Gunshots Being Investigated in Yellowstone Park

On Sept. 22, Yellowstone Park rangers began investigating a report that a man had fired a shotgun at wolves that were chasing his dog along East Entrance Road. Upon investigation, no evidence of injured wolves was found, but shotgun shells were discovered.
