Biastoch Wants to Finish Projects With County

In a meeting with Sheridan County commissioners Monday, County Fire Warden Bill Biastoch said there are a number of projects he's been working on during his tenure as fire warden, and he wants to stay on with the county for a while after he retires.

Mayor Asks County to Help With Landfill Costs

Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller has asked Sheridan County commissioners to consider helping the city pay for three free landfill days this year.

Yoshimoto Exhibit Opening

On this upcoming Tuesday, the new Jave Yoshimoto exhibit will be opening at the Whitney Center for the Arts. There will also be an artist’s lecture at 4 pm followed by a reception from 5-7 pm featuring the Sheridan College flute choir. Yoshimoto’s works will be on display until April 22.

Daniels Fund Awards Scholarships in Wyoming

The Daniels Fund has awarded $80,000 in Boundless Opportunity Scholarship grant funds to the University of Wyoming and Gillette College.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls basketball season came to an end Sunday with a second round loss in the "WNIT" against UC-Davis the final was 74-64 the Cowgirls finish off a great season with a record of 22-11.

SPRING SPORTS TRACK / SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams had a pretty good opening weekend at the Casper jamboree.

The Lady Broncs tied 1-all with Natrona county then dropped a 3-1 decision against Kelly Walsh and ended the event with a scoreless tie with Evanston.
