Catapult Entertainment Comes To Sheridan

Saturday evening, the WYO theater hosted Catapult Entertainment to perform their “shadow dance”. Shadow dancing is where a screen and projector are put up and dancers create shadows with their bodies to tell a story. Catapult is a dance group founded by Adam Battelstein.

Easter Egg Hunt Held at the High School

Saturday morning, the annual Easter Egg Hunt was held in the Sheridan High School gymnasium. The hunt was put on by the Sheridan Recreation District and was for kids aged 0 to 8. There were about 400 family members participating in the activity.

SHS Receives Model PLC Recognition

Sportsmen's Association Gets Grant to Fund Women's Classes

On Friday evening, the Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association (SCSA) celebrated receiving a grant from the NRA. The money is to be used for equipment for new women’s classes. Until January of this year, there had not been any classes specifically for women.

Red Grade Opens Sunday

Everywhere, Wyoming – After announcing his campaign for Governor, Wyoming Treasurer Mark Gordon is continuing his statewide tour announcing a slate of informal receptions in Meeteetse, Cody, Powell, Greybull, Basin, Thermopolis, Jackson and Pinedale.

Symons Announces Run for State House District 30

Local resident Gail Symons has announced her intent to run for the Wyoming House of Representatives. She said that she will run as a republican candidate for House District 30. Current incumbent of House District 30, Mark Jennings, has yet to announce whether he will run for the seat again or not.
