Trees for Trash Brings 'Em to Landfill

More than 150 people had come to Sheridan's Municipal Landfill by shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday, bringing loads of household and other trash to exchange for eastern red cedar trees in this year's Trees for Trash event.

Volunteers Clean Up Along Pathways

Volunteers picked up trash along city pathways starting at the M&M Center in Whitney Plaza in Sheridan's first Community Clean Up Day Saturday morning.

Deadline Approaching for Juried Photography Show

The deadline for photographers to submit their work for the SAGE 3rd annual juried photography show is only a few days away. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Boot Barn to Host Shelter Adoption Event

The Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan will be joining forces with the Boot Barn in downtown Sheridan to help find homes for some of the animals at the shelter.

Museum to Host Collections Worknight on Tuesday

With just over a week since the Sheridan County Museum reopened for the season with two new exhibits, they will host a collections worknight on Tuesday. According to Museum Director John Woodward, said that this is a new program the museum is offering.
