Liquor Law Changes Presented at Meeting

The state of Wyoming will no longer regulate the hours of operation for bars and other establishments selling liquor as of July 1.

County Clerk's Office to Accept Credit Cards

The Sheridan County clerk's office will soon start accepting credit cards for payment of licenses, land recordings, marriage licenses and other fees owed to the county.

Local Fire Departments Hold Quarterly Drill Weekend

Over the weekend the Big Horn Fire Department hosted the county’s quarterly drill with Sheridan Fire Rescue, Goose Valley Fire, and Story Fire.

5 Children Reported Dead in Spearfish, SD House Fire

In the early morning hours of Saturday, a fire was reported at a multifamily residence in Spearfish, South Dakota. According to the Rapid City Journal, the residence was described as a two-story house, with an apartment attached to the back.

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Grizzly bears continue to expand their range amid an ongoing effort to turn over management of the bears from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys blew out Coastal Carolina to win the College Basketball Invitational tournament. The Pokes led by 19 at halftime Coastal Carolina made a brief run to start the second half but the Pokes slammed the door and went onto win the title 83-59 after the victory Head coach Allen Edwards.

And Edwards said the Cowboys set the tone of the game early and built up a big halftime lead.
