District 1 Budget Cuts to Affect Students

Marty Kobza, who's superintendent of Sheridan County School District 1, said the district has tried to keep budget issues from affecting students, but the latest round of budget cuts by Wyoming's legislators means that's no longer possible.

Victims of Spearfish, SD House Fire Cause of Death Revealed

The 5 victims of a house fire that occurred in Spearfish, SD on April 1st, were killed by smoke inhalation. According to the Rapid City Journal, the victim’s identities and cause of death were determined by the Lawrence County Coroner's Office forensic medical examinations.

SC Generals Rodeo results

Sheridan College headed to Fort Collins, CO this past weekend to compete at the CSU Stampede.

The women’s team had a number of individuals qualify for the short round.

Latasha Weiferich a freshman placed second in the long round in the barrel racing with a time of 15.11 seconds, she placed fifth in the short round with a run of 15.25 seconds, which placed her third in the average and moved her into the third place position in the region.
