Sheridan’s New Mayor and Council Take Oaths

The first Sheridan City Council Meeting of 2017 was held Monday night, and the big item on the agenda was the swearing in of the new Mayor and council.

In December, several local organizations sent representatives to the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Legislative Forum. State Representatives Bo Biteman, Mike Madden, Mark Kinner, and Mark Jennings, along with Senators Bruce Burns, and Dave Kinskey, were all on hand during the event.

Lady Bronc Hoops Salvage Energy Classic Finale / Cowgirls whip UNLV / Broncos Beat Raiders, Kubiak Steps Down as Head Coach

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs won their final game at the Energy classic tournament they beat Westchester high school from Los Angeles, California 65-37 they stand at 3-3 heading into more tournament games this week.

The Broncs dropped a 51-50 decision to Las Vegas Liberty high school the Broncs are 2-4 overall both teams will play three games in Cheyenne at a tournament starting Thursday their opponents will be Casper Kelly Walsh, Green River and Rock Springs.

Buffalo Council Renews Insurance With Rate Increase

Buffalo's City Council got a report from the city's insurance agent, Trevor Moon with Northern Wyoming Insurance, discussed the policy and then approved the renewal for the coming year, with a slight increase in the rate.

Engineer Gives Final Report Of 2016 On Lobban Project

Buffalo Mayor Mike Johnson, during the last city council meeting, updated the public on the last update of the year from the project engineer on the Lobban Avenue Reconstruction Project after it shut down earlier this month for the winter months.
