City to Apply for Grant to Extend Infrastructure in North Sheridan

The Sheridan City Council approved a resolution to apply for a Community Readiness Grant through the Wyoming Business Council to extend infrastructure at the HI-Tech Business Park in North Sheridan. City of Sheridan Planning Director Robert Briggs.

Buffalo Council Passes Sewer Rate Increase On Third Reading

Buffalo's City Council, at their Tuesday meeting, passed Ordinance No. 1360, raising the city's sewer rates 100 percent across the board.
As an example, residential rates will increase from $10.30 per month to $20.60 per month.

Johnson Co. OK's Travel Channel Filming At Courthouse

At their meeting Tuesday the Johnson County Commissioners approved a crew from the Travel Channel to film at the courthouse next week.

Jennifer Jackson, the Commissioner's Administrative Director, explained more about the request during the meeting.

Dust Suppression Grant Agreement Received

Sheridan County has received the grant agreement from the Wyoming Department of Transportation that will allow for the application of magnesium chloride on approximately 140 miles of County roads.
