New Scam Has Made Its Way Into Circulation

The Sheridan Police Department is warning people to be on the lookout for a new scam that is making its way around Sheridan. This one involves contacting the individual through e-mail says Sheridan Police Lieutenant Chris Dahmke.

New Report Shows More Wyoming Students Eating Breakfast in School

A report released Tuesday by the Food Research and Action Center shows that Wyoming has made improvement in making sure low-income students are getting a nutritious breakfast. Crystal FitzSimons with FRAC says the program has many benefits.

Nine Sheridan Ice Figure Skaters are preparing for the New Year’s Ice Breaker Competition to be held in Gillette on January 19th.

The Sheridan figure skaters will compete with teams from Wyoming and South Dakota. Sheridan Ice Figure Skaters are the only skaters in the competition to come from an outdoor rink - practicing in this week’s cold temperatures is quite admirable.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams will open conference play tomorrow the broncs play at Cheyenne South then over to Laramie Saturday tomorrow night's game tips at 7:30 and Saturday at 1:30 live on 14-10 KWYO.

The Lady Broncs will host South tomorrow night at 7:30 and Laramie Saturday at 1:00 both games can be heard live on 87.7 FM.

Johnson County Teachers Recognized For Certification

Twelve teachers in the Johnson County School District were recently announced as Nationally-Certified Teachers and nine were recognized by the District at the Board of Trustees meeting this week.

Johnson County Releases Retainage On Judicial Center

Johnson County's Commissioners, at their meeting Tuesday, released $400,000 in a retainage account at the request of Groathouse Construction, who built the recently-completed Judicial Center for the county.
