Let's Talk About It: Making Sense of the American Civil War, a book and film series will be coming to the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library starting January 17th. In conjunction with the books and films Patti and Bob Wilson have stocked the round case seen here with Civil War Memorabilia - the case is located just inside the front door of the library.

Bill: G&F Would Set Weapon Regs, Big Game Baiting

Legislation may be coming to help thin the herds. Problems created by whitetail deer populations in Sheridan and Johnson counties could potentially be reduced by a bill that could allow baiting of big game away from populated areas.

Sheridan Mayor Responds to Letter to the Editor

A letter to the editor in the January 4th edition of the Sheridan Press was very critical of the Sheridan Police Department for a traffic stop that occurred on December 11th when a husband and wife from Cowley were en route to Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Sheridan County Wants Public Input on 5th Street Corridor Plan

Sheridan County will host a public workshop next Tuesday on the future of the East 5th Street Corridor Plan. This is the first of two public meetings scheduled for the East 5th Street Corridor planning process.


BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan Broncs and Lady Broncs get back on the court tonight.

The Lady Broncs are 9-1 and will play at Billings Senior tonight, they beat them in early December in a tight game at home.

Tomorrow they host Natrona county varsity tip off is at 4:30 the game will be broadcast live on 95.9 FM.

The Broncs are 8-2 and will host Billings Senior tonight and play at Natrona county tomorrow.

Buffalo City Attorney Discusses Easements, Justice Center

Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven discussed a number of topics during his report at the last Council meeting, including land ownership at the new justice center, and easements from land owners west of town for the proposed water supply line for the city.

Jo Co Releases Final Retainage Funds For Justice Center

At their last meeting earlier this month, the Johnson County Commissioners released the final retainage funds on the new Buffalo/Johnson County Justice Center.
