NE Wyoming Fire Update

Wildfires are now burning on about 6,000 acres in southwestern South Dakota and northeastern Wyoming. The Highlands Fire has scorched about 400 acres near Newcastle is 60 percent contained. It has destroyed five structures and damaged two others.

Gov. Mead Commends Forest Firefighters

Wyoming Governor, Matt Mead, visited the Arapaho fire in the south-central portion of the state and praised Wyoming's wildfire fighters, who have been working a lot of overtime this season.

Jo Co Commissioners To Work Through Light Agenda Tuesday

A light agenda is scheduled for the Johnson County Commissioners this Tuesday, July 3.
