Back to Work after a Pancake Breakfast?

Fire Chief Caleb, age 4 and his brother Fire Chief Isaac, age 6 of Big Horn appear to be headed back to work after their breakfast of orange juice, pancakes and sausage at Saturday's Big Horn Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Pancake Breakfast. There was a large turnout and lots of conversation at the popular annual event.


MILWARD SIMPSON AWARDS - The 2012 Milward Simpson awards were handed out Saturday night.

The winners were Tanner Simpson from Lander and Mikayla Brower from Torrington.

Sheridan high school's Riley Ryan was also one of the nominees for this years award.

Riley earned five all-conference and four all-state awards in basketball, football and soccer. He was a four-year starter for the broncs in basketball and a three-year for the3 bronc football and soccer teams..

It's All About the Budget for City Council Tonight

After almost a dozen or so budget work sessions held by the Sheridan City Council throughout the month of May, it's finally time for the Council to officially adopt the budget for fiscal year 2012-2013 at their meeting tonight.

Buffalo Trail System's Grouse Mountain Trail Officially Open

At a ceremony Saturday morning, the Clear Creek Trail System's newest trail, the Grouse Mountain Trail was officially dedicated.

Although the trail was completed last fall, the Buffalo Trails Board decided to hold the dedication cermony this past weekend.

Road And Bridge Updates Jo Co Commission on Trabing Road

Johnson County Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer was asked by the county commissioners at their June 5th meeting how the Trabing Road Project was progressing.
