Rollover Crash Kills One, Injures Three Near Kaycee

The Wyoming Highway Patrol confirmed Friday that a rollover that occurred on I-25 16 miles north of Kaycee killed one and injured three others.

A Day of Transition

Friday was not just the last day of school it was a day of transition for many. On the left Rich Albrecht is checking the oil on SCSD#2 Bus 9 for the last time - he is retiring after having driven for the district for 15-years. On the right is Rich's wife Carol Albrecht, the Para/Bus Aide on Bus 21, checking over her paperwork one last time - she is retiring after 12-years with the district.

Mayor Kinskey Recommends Lenhart be Promoted to Fire Chief

In a media release issued by the City of Sheridan, it states that Mayor Dave Kinskey will recommend at Monday's City Council meeting that Terry Lenhart be promoted to Fire Chief.

YMCA's Buffalo Triathlon Today Through Saturday

The 29th Annual Buffalo Triathlon, presented by the Johnson County Family YMCA, will begin this afternoon and continue through Saturday.

The event consists of a ½ mile swim, a 14 mile bike ride and a 4.2 mile run, either held at or starting and finishing at the YMCA.

Officials Agree on Proposed Consensus Funding Distribution

Officials with Sheridan County, the City of Sheridan, Ranchester, Dayton and Clearmont met Thursday to determine a distribution amount of the $2.8 million in consensus funding from the State Legislature.
