County Commissioners Taking Applications for Scholarships

Money for College, something that just about every high school student has thought of at one time or another throughout their senior year. The Sheridan County Commissioners are once again offering some help in that department via scholarships.

SMH to Recognize Volunteers During National Volunteer Appreciation Week

National Volunteer Appreciation Week is April 15th through the 21st and Sheridan Memorial Hospital will recognize their volunteers with a special breakfast from 7 am to 9 am a week from today. Hospital Volunteer Services Coordinator Patty Forister.

The Arvada-Clearmont 2012 Spring Health Fair will take place this Saturday at the Powder River Community Center Gymnasium in Arvada.

Johnson County To Close Road For Culvert Replacement

Upper Clear Creek Road will be closed at times Tuesday, April 17th to allow Johnson County Road and Bridge to replace an aging, damaged culvert. The culvert work will be approximately 0.6 miles west of the Klondike Road intersection.

Little Miss Johnson County Pageant Friday at Senior Center

The Little Miss Johnson County Pageant, a part of the Little Miss Wyoming Scholarship Pageant series, will be today at the Buffalo Senior Center.

Economic Master Plan For Johnson County Nearly Complete

Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery released information on the nearly-complete Economic and Community Development Master Plan,
saying public workshops will be held next month for citizens to give their input on the plan.

The Arts are Alive at Big Horn

The arts are alive and well at the Big Horn Schools. Thursday night the high school band held their Festival Band Concert while the elementary students held their art show at the Bradford Brinton Memorial and Museum.
