Rare Early Flooding in Eastern Sheridan County

Some rare early flooding caused the national weather service to issue a “small stream flood advisory” for rain and melting snow in eastern Sheridan County Thursday.


LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs beat Gillette last night in a big conference win on the road to end the regular season. The game went down to the final minute with the Lady Broncs holding off the Camels 58-55.

Now they'll wait out the rest of the conference teams and will find out tomorrow night what seed they will have at the regional tournament which starts next Thursday at Cheyenne East high school.

SCSO Investigates Case Involving Two Dead Dogs

The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office recently responded to a citizens complaint of two dead dogs that had been discarded on Upper Cat Road in Sheridan County.

The household hazardous waste facility at the City of Sheridan Landfill was been around a little over a year now. Landfill Health and Safety Coordinator Shawn Stevens says that the facility a year later, has been well received.

Weekend Johnson County Sports Preview

Both Kaycee basketball teams were in action Thursday at the 1A Regional Basketball Tournament in Gillette.
The boys' team took on Lingle-Ft. Laramie, and the Lady Bucs played Midwest.
We'll have results and where the teams are in the brackets as results are released.
Buffalo's basketball teams will be finishing up their regular seasons this week, beginning with Glenrock tonight and Douglas on Saturday.
Buffalo will host Glenrock tonight, with games scheduled at 4 and 7 for the boys, 4 and 5:30 for the girls.
The teams will travel to Douglas for games on Saturday.

BHS to Host Forensics Competition Friday and Saturday

339 kids from 20 schools from Wyoming and surrounding states will take over Buffalo High School this weekend for the annual BHS Forensics Tournament.
Forensics involves competition in speech, debate, and interpretation events.
