Rare Early Flooding in Eastern Sheridan County

Some rare early flooding caused the national weather service to issue a “small stream flood advisory” for rain and melting snow in eastern Sheridan County Thursday.


LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs beat Gillette last night in a big conference win on the road to end the regular season. The game went down to the final minute with the Lady Broncs holding off the Camels 58-55.

Now they'll wait out the rest of the conference teams and will find out tomorrow night what seed they will have at the regional tournament which starts next Thursday at Cheyenne East high school.

The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office recently responded to a citizens complaint of two dead dogs that had been discarded on Upper Cat Road in Sheridan County.

Household Hazardous Waste

The household hazardous waste facility at the City of Sheridan Landfill was been around a little over a year now. Landfill Health and Safety Coordinator Shawn Stevens says that the facility a year later, has been well received.
