Authorities Confirm Missing Montana Teacher is Dead

HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Law enforcement officers in eastern Montana say two men being questioned in the disappearance of a high school math teacher are being held in the Dakotas. Sidney Public School officials posted a statement online saying they learned of Sherry Arnold's death Friday morning.

Mead: UW Should Be Only 4-Year Public University

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Gov. Matt Mead says some people in Casper and Gillette have inquired about creating another four-year public university in Wyoming. But Mead says he's against the idea.

Let's Talk About It: Making Sense of the American Civil War, a book and film series will be coming to the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library starting January 17th. In conjunction with the books and films Patti and Bob Wilson have stocked the round case seen here with Civil War Memorabilia - the case is located just inside the front door of the library.

Bill: G&F Would Set Weapon Regs, Big Game Baiting

Legislation may be coming to help thin the herds. Problems created by whitetail deer populations in Sheridan and Johnson counties could potentially be reduced by a bill that could allow baiting of big game away from populated areas.

Sheridan Mayor Responds to Letter to the Editor

A letter to the editor in the January 4th edition of the Sheridan Press was very critical of the Sheridan Police Department for a traffic stop that occurred on December 11th when a husband and wife from Cowley were en route to Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
