State Veterans Memorial Asking for Names of Veterans Who Have Died Dating Back to Vietnam

The State of Wyoming's Veterans Memorial Park in Cody is looking to add another monument for vets who have died since Vietnam, and they are asking for Wyoming residents to help them complete their list of names by sending information.

Unemployment Numbers for Sheridan County Continue to Drop

Wednesday we told you about the continued decline in the state's unemployment rate, as it has been dropping since December of 2009 when the jobless rate was 7.7%.

“Burning House” Fundraiser Set for Sunday

Just over two weeks ago, a fire on Higby Road in Sheridan County destroyed the home of Jon Quarterman. Local musicians have banded together to host a fundraiser this Sunday to help Jon with the expense of building a new home.

Jodi's Heart of Sheridan is a finalist in the "100 Cars for Good" program sponsored by Toyota. In the competition, Toyota takes 5,000 non-profits from around the country and narrows them down to 500, then, five of the organizations per day are posted on Toyota's Facebook page where people can vote for the winning organization to win a car.

Buffalo Crazy Days Kicks Off Friday

Buffalo's Crazy Days celebration will be this weekend downtown and in Crazy Woman Square. The fun will begin Friday as merchants spill out of their stores and onto the sidewalks with special pricing on goods and will stay open late into the evening.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers beat up Laramie and have advance into the winner's bracket at the Wyoming state American legion baseball tournament.

SHERIDAN LITTLE LEAGUE - The Sheridan little league 9-10 year olds were eliminated from thew state little league tournament yesterday in a 16-2 loss against Laramie they end the season with a 3rd place finish.

SHERIDAN JETS - The Sheridan Jets are the hosts for the American legion junior baseball regional tournament.
