Much has been accomplished at the Vacutech Building location in the nine months since the October 28, 2010 groundbreaking. Last week concrete was poured inside the structure. The south side and west end pour started at midnight on Wednesday and ran for about 12-hours.

The Sheridan Calvary 9-10 Year Old Little League All-Stars. They won the District Championship in Laramie on Friday beating Laramie 23-19 in the championship game.

They were down 19-11 going into the bottom of the 4th inning. The Calvary scored 12 runs in the inning and went on for the win.

“On the Foundation” Habitat Fundraiser is Friday

Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns will be holding a unique fundraiser this Friday, July 29th. Habitat Executive Director Jessica Lindsley explains that the event will be held on South Thurmond Avenue in Sheridan.

South Gateway Building Project Bid Approved

The City of Sheridan recently awarded the bid for the South Gateway Building project to KWN Construction in the amount of $177,000. The building, probably better knows as the old Maverick store on the corner of Main and Coffeen will be the future home of the Downtown Sheridan Association.
