When Cloud Peak Energy / Spring Creek Coal put out the call that they would like to bring relief supplies to those affected by flooding on the Crow Reservation, little did they realize how Sheridan County steps up.

"Raptoround: Standing Proud" by Chuck Weaver will officially be dedicated during the Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in Sheridan on Monday morning. The sculpture that portrays a patriotic look was purchased with funds from the Sheridan Media Benefit Golf Tournament that was held last June. It has been placed on the Coffeen & Main Street corner where it will be dedicated.
3-Broncs and 3-Lady Broncs earn All-State Soccer Awards. The Wyoming Coaches Association has posted the 2011 4A All-State Awards recognizing six from Sheridan: Zack Will, Hunter Reece, Gabe Dahmke, Rickie Ryan, Nicci Kassen and Steph Sessions.
