Buffalo City Council Approves Numerous Resolutions

Buffalo's City Council, at their meeting on Monday, passed a number of Resolutions regarding budgetary items, agreements to work with the county, and a plan for capital improvements.

Buffalo Awards Contract to Build Trail in Mosier Gulch

The Buffalo City Council awarded a bid to build a trail extension from the city's existing trail system through Mosier Gulch west of town, which will eventually connect to an existing Forest Service Trail farther up the Bighorn Mountains.

NWCCD Board Receives Update on Architect Proposals for Academic Center

At Thursday night's Northern Wyoming Community College District Board meeting, Sheridan College Vice President and CFO Cheryl Heath expressed to the Board that they had received thirteen proposals from architects regarding the design of the $15 million Academic Center.

Montana Woman Dies in I-90 Crash South of Sheridan

53-year-old Laureen Emmert from Columbia Falls, Montana died Tuesday in a one vehicle accident on Interstate 90 eight miles south of Sheridan.

Sheridan Fire-Rescue Responds to Smoke at Historic Building

Crews with Sheridan Fire-Rescue responded to a report of smoke inside the Historic Cady building Thursday morning shortly after 9 am. The old Cady Opera House is home to offices for Pinnacle Gas, Rockwell Petroleum, Sanford's Grub and Pub and The Bucking Buffalo Supply Company.
