Bison Soccer Update from Friday

The third-ranked Bison boys' soccer team traveled to Powell on Friday to take on the Panthers and came away with a 5-0 rout of Powell.
The Bison are now 2-1 on the season.
Buffalo will host top-ranked Cody today at BHS, with games scheduled at 1 and 3pm.
The top-ranked Bison girls also won Friday, whipping the Powell Lady Panthers 7-0 at BHS.
The girls' record now stands at 2-0.
The Lady Bison travel to Cody today to take on the #2-ranked Fillies, with games also at 1 and 3pm.

Buffalo Council Approves Lot Split, Amendment

Resolution No. 1314, authorizing a lot split for property in the county was approved by the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting.

SHS Soccer Teams Both Win Friday

The Sheridan Bronc Soccer team edged out a 1-0 win over Cody at Sheridan High School Friday. Mother Nature played a role in the low scoring affair as it rained throughout and made playing conditions less than favorable. Zack Will scored the only goal of the game to give the Broncs the victory.

Reservation System Implemented for Tongue River State Park

Even though today's weather is still a bit winter-like, word from the Montana Fish & Wildlife is that reservations for twenty Montana State Park camping locations will be opening up in just a couple weeks.

Advisory Committee Looks at Future for Seniors

The Sheridan Senior Center Advisory Committee, which is comprised of SSC board members and members of the community, met with Community Builders, Inc. of Douglas Thursday afternoon.

SEEDA Works on Policy and Procedures Manual

Sheridan Press to Get New Publisher

The Sheridan Press has hired a new publisher, Stephen Woody of Montrose, Colorado. Originally from Texas, Woody has been with the Montrose Daily Press for the past fourteen years.

A Few Seats Left on SCLT Tour Bus Tomorrow

The Sheridan Community Land Trust is hosting a half-day bus tour tomorrow morning for thirty people, and there are about six spots available for anyone interested in joining the excursion. Director Colin Betzler has the details

Generals Named All Region Nine

Three Sheridan College Generals have been named to the All Region Nine: First Team - Jerrell Crayton, Second Team - Lamont Prosser, and All Defensive Team - Khion Sankey. In addition, the Coach-of-the-Year is Steve Smiley of Sheridan College who is seen watching Khion Sankey in frame #3 during a game against Gillette College.

Sing Forever

Sing Forever was one of the Sheridan High School Mixed Choir selections when the SHS Vocal Music Department presented the "March Festival Concert" Thursday evening at the High School. Following the Mixed Choir the Honor Choir, Treblemakers and Spectrum rounded out the enjoyable evening of music that was started by the Senior Girls.
