Jo Co Athletes perform Well at Campbell Invite

The annual Jerry Campbell Invitational Track meet was last Friday at George Grace Field in Buffalo.
Attending were teams from Arvada-Clearmont, Big Horn, Buffalo, Campbell County, Kaycee, Meeteetse, Midwest, Normative Services, Tongue River, Upton, Worland and Wright.

Jo Co Airport Board Public Meeting Today

A special meeting of the Johnson County Airport Board will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the airport.

VOA Loses Funding, Looks to Jo Co for Help

Volunteers of America of the Northern Rockies has lost a major portion of its grant funding for Johnson County's Youth Services Program, which provides alternatives to secure detention.


BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan Bronc soccer team has a 3-1 record and will open conference play Thursday with a road game at Gillette.

The Broncs made a late run a year ago and went all the way to the state title match and return this spring trying to get back there.

65 players have come out for bronc soccer forcing the school to add more JV games to the schedule to make sure every player get plenty of opportunity to play Head coach Kevin Riser says it's a good problem to have.

They Walked for Disability Awareness

The 7th annual Disability Awareness Walk took place in various towns throughout Wyoming over the weekend. While it may have been the 7th annual, it was the first time that Sheridan participated in the walk.

The beauty of a spring Wyoming snow could be seen all over the Sheridan area on Monday morning - like this view at 122 Brinton Road south of Big Horn.

All Out in Cody

This last Saturday March 26th the Sheridan Bronc track team went to Cody to compete in there first meet as a full team. All the athletes went out and competed as hard as they could to set there marks to beat later in the season. The Cody invite also has other incentives to do well. If they were JV the athletes that won their event got a free T-Shirt.
