Sheridan County Chamber Luncheon Was All About Local Government

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon Wednesday was a chance for those in attendance to hear an update on how the local governments within the County are doing.

Kaycee Athletes Receive Postseason Accolades

A number of Kaycee Buckaroos and Lady Bucs have been recognized for their outstanding play this year by receiving All-Conference and All-State honors this week.


Sheridan High school distance runner Dylan Morin has signed a national letter of intent compete in cross country and track for the University of Washington.

Morin started his senior track season winning the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter races at the Wyoming state indoor championships last week.

He is currently training with the rest of the Broncs and Lady broncs as they get ready to open up their outdoor season next weekend in Casper

Comical Jazz

On the night of March 8th Jazz Band had a great performance. The opening was more of the percussion band but they all did great to get people interested with the first group dressing up like Robbin Hood and at the of their performance shot arrows at an apple atop one of there on classmates head.

"A band ought to have a sound all of its own, it ought to have a personality." ~ Glenn Miller. And on Sunday afternoon at the WYO Theater the audience agreed as the 19-member band "WOWED" them with one memorable selection after another - including vocals by Valerie Duke and Brian Hemstock.
