Bison Named to All-State

In addition to their All-Conference selections, four Buffalo basketball players were named to the 3A All-State Team.
All-State selections for the Bison boys were Aaron Tyser and Kasey Esponda.
Named to the All-State Team for the Bison girls were Leah Groteluschen and Dallas Shaw.
All four Bison were also named to the 3A East All-Conference Team.

County Commissioners Approve Waiver Request for Quarry

At their March 1st meeting, the Sheridan County Commissioners denied a waiver request extending the operations of the Sheeley Ranch Columbus Creek Quarry to run through the end of April.

Time is running out to vote for Sheridan as the No. 1 Distinctive Destination for 2011. Historic Characters Sitting Bull, Annie Oakley and Buffalo Bill a.k.a. Truman Jefferson, Edre Maier, and Butch Jellis were here to celebrate Sheridan's nomination as one of the Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2011. Let's bring them back to celebrate making Sheridan the No. 1 Destination.


Three athletes from Sheridan high school have been honored by 4-A coaches and named to the All-state teams.

Senior Kayla Woodward and Junior Steph Sessions help lead the Lady Broncs to a 24-5 record and runner-up finish at last week's state tournament.Both have been named to the 4-A girls all-state 1st team.

The Sheridan Broncs went 19-8 this past season their leading scorer was Junior Riley Ryan, Ryan was honored for his play by receiving a spot on the 4-A boys All-state 1st team.

Paumer Makes Initial Appearance in Circuit Court

Clearmont resident Camie Paumer made her initial appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court Monday. Paumer has been charged with a total of nine counts: six felonies that include three Forgery charges; two charges of Larceny; and one charge of Obtaining Property Under False Pretenses.

RENEW Art Show on Display in Downtown Sheridan
