LADY BRONC LOSE, BRONCS ON THE ROAD TONIGHT

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs have lost two in a row after losing to Gillette 74-59 at Sheridan high school last night.

They led 16-15 after the first quarter, Gillette took a three point halftime lead then blew the game open scoring 28 points in the third quarter Lady Broncs Head coach Derek Bissitt.

The Lady Broncs missed Steph Sessions last night the two year starter was in street clothes last night with injury.

Sheridan College Receives $100k For Project Development

Most of the news this week coming out of Sheridan College was the $7.5 million that was approved by the Wyoming Legislature to construct a new Academic Center on campus.

How Will Additional State Funding Help Sheridan

The State Legislature's decision to increase funding to local governments by $10 million figures to be a much needed boost to governments who are once again projecting budget shortfalls.

Developmental Disabilities Amendment Fails

Wednesday a budget amendment that would have restored the remaining 4% of the 10% funding cuts to agencies around the state that work with the developmentally disabled failed in the House. The cuts were made nearly three years ago during the Freudenthal Administration.

The Sheridan Recreation District has developed a list of goals and objectives for the next 3 to 5 years. The plan highlights five different areas that will be focused on; parks, facilities, programs, community involvement and the recreation department as a whole.
