SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams both won Friday night in the Sheridan Lions club tournament at the Hoffman dome the Lady Generals are 7-1 and the Generals go to 8-0.

There will be four more games today at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 the Lady Generals will play at 5:00 and the Generals at 7:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan high school basketball teams open the season hosting a double header with Green River next Friday.

Both games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM. The Lady Broncs play at 5:45 and the Broncs at 7:30.

Lodge Grass Staying Strong Following Tough Year

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - It's been a long six months for Lodge Grass. In May, floodwaters inundated the reservation town of about 500, turning it into a temporary island and swamping businesses, churches and houses.

Mead Finishing Work On Fiscally Conservative Budget

Governor Matt Mead will present his budget for the next two years on December first. In a media release from his office, the governor says he's finishing work on a fiscally conservative budget.
