HIGH SCHOOL GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc golfers held off Cheyenne Central to win the Douglas invitational yesterday the Broncs took the team title by 12 shots. Overall six broncs placed in the top ten Kamrin Allen led the way finishing 2nd, Cameron Lindell was 3rd, Toby Nicholas was 4th, Taylor Reed was 5th, Jace Rader 7th and Taylor Spiegelberg was 10th.

Sheridan high school will host the next tournament which tees off tomorrow at Kendrick golf course and will conclude Friday.

The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers hosted their own event yesterday at Kendrick golf course.

SAWS Board Will Discuss Water Study's Preliminary Findings

As the Sheridan-area expands, our need to tap into more water resources grows as well. Figuring out which resources to develop for the future is the current question for the Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board, also known as SAWS, and will be the subject of discussion during a special public meeting Thursday.

Remains Found in the Big Horns Have Been Identified

On April 16, 2010, the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office received information from an informant that he had been involved in transporting and burying a body in the Big Horn Mountains. Several days later on April 19, the Sheriff's Office assisted a K-9 Search and Recovery cadaver dog team, and located partial human remains in an undisclosed location in the Big Horn Mountains.

Governor Dave Freudenthal made his monthly appearance as a guest on News Talk 930 KROE'S Public Pulse program Tuesday, where he discussed last week's Primary Election. Host Kim Love asked Freudenthal if he felt there were any surprises in this year's Primary.

The 7th Cavalry Drum and Bugle Corps

The 7th Cavalry Drum and Bugle Corps of Sheridan spent the 4th of July this year in Philadelphia as a participant in the parade, which was part of the city's Welcome America Celebration. Drum and Bugle Corps Manager Conrad Namtvedt says that they already have their sights set on another Top Ten parade for next year.
