Auditions Tonight for 2nd CTG Show

The Sheridan Civic Theatre Guild is gearing up to begin its 2010-2011 season, and while the first show is already cast and rehearsals soon underway, tonight folks have an opportunity to audition for the second play of the season. A spin-off of Dickens' A Christmas Carol, this show is called The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, a comedy by Mark Brown.


SHS GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc golfers sit in the top spot as a team after the first day of the Riverton Invitational tournament. Cameron Lindell leads the way after a blistering first round of 64, teammate Kamrin Allen is hot on his heels after a first round 68 play concludes today.

Following play today the next tournament will start Monday in Douglas. Kendrick golf course will host the Sheridan Invitational starting next Thursday.

Sheridan College Enrollment Up—Close To The Ceiling

With the first day of classes around the corner, the Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees met for their regular monthly meeting Thursday night.

Today is the Final Day for Health Fair Blood Draws

Health Fair blood draws come to a close today.

Today is the last day for the Health Fair blood draws at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. The blood draw will be from 6 am to 10 am for those that have made an appointment. Hospital Marketing Manager Danae Brandjord says that they will be taking walk-ins at the blood draw as well.

BMX Track On the Move?

The Rec. District is looking at possible sites for a track for their BMX program.

The Sheridan City Council recently adopted a conceptual plan for Thorn-Rider Park that would do away with the BMX track that's located just adjacent to the south entrance of the park. Sheridan Recreation District Director Richard Wright says that there have been several community members that have expressed interest in keeping the program alive.

Sheridan Circuit Court News

36-year-old Sheridan Resident Jason Lyles had his initial appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court Thursday. Lyles is charged with two felonies; Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine; and Endangering Children. Law Enforcement arrested Lyles on August, 17th at his residence in Sheridan after the completion of an almost month long investigation.
