State Candidates Debate the Issues

The second of two candidate forums hosted by the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce was held Wednesday night at the Sheridan College C-TEL. The forum included candidates for Wyoming Governor, State Auditor, Superintendent of Public Instruction, U.S. Representative, and State Representative for House Districts 30, 40, and 51.

County Commissioner Candidates

There are six candidates vying for three available seats on the Sheridan County Commission.

Three of the six candidates for Sheridan County Commission appeared as guests on KROE'S Public Pulse program Wednesday, with the other three scheduled to be on the program Thursday. Current Commissioner Terry Cram says that there is some unfinished business that he'd like to take care of.

Bear Cloud: Motion to Suppress Hearing

A lengthy “Motion to Suppress” hearing, followed by a brief Pre-Trial Conference took place in 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday in the Wyatt Bear Cloud case. Bear Cloud's trial for his alleged part in the murder of Robert Ernst August 26, 2009 is currently scheduled to begin September 13th. Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson with more.


BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs enter day three of training camp today. With three weeks of practice before the first game Head coach Don Julian says they are looking to make sure they are sharp for the season opener in Casper on the 27th.

And they have the benefit of the extra week with school beginning on the 30th three days after the first game.

The Broncs play at Kelly Walsh on the 27th and play Cheyenne East in the home opener on September 3rd.
