How Much Has Sheridan County Grown?

There have been rumors circulating about how much the Sheridan County government has grown over the last few years.

So how much has it actually grown? Part of that depends on what aspect of growth we are talking about.

The Wyoming Wilderness Association is sponsoring a talk by longstanding Nevada rancher Brent Eldridge who will be sharing his experiences about living and ranching in and near new Wilderness Areas in Nevada.

Unitarian President to Dedicate New Church

The Unitarian Church in Sheridan.

A small group of Sheridan residents teamed up last summer to acquire a building at 1950 Brundage Lane. That building has since been converted into a Unitarian Church, which will be the site of a special dedication this evening.

Bradford Brinton to Open Saturday

The Bradford Brinton Memorial and Museum will open for the 2010 season this Saturday, May 29th. There will be two photography exhibitions this summer in the Helen Brinton Gallery. Museum Director and Chief Curator Ken Schuster tells us about the exhibit that will be on display starting Saturday.

Governor Comments on MDU Rate Increase

Last week we told you about the Wyoming Public Service Commission's authorization of the MDU utility rate increase in the amount of $2.6 million. The increase that was approved by the PSC was smaller than the stipulation agreement between MDU and the Office of Consumer Advocate that was filed with the Commission in March of this year.

Troopers' Boss: “Corps 'Ready'”

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Casper-based Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps is preparing for the new season on a high note. Last year, the corps qualified for finals at the Drum Corps International World Championships for the first time since 1986.
